Our Story

We got tired of AI hype.

So we built the directory we always wished existed — one that tells you what a tool is actually like to use, not just what the product page says.

The problem

Every AI tool launch comes with the same breathless press coverage. “Revolutionary.” “Game-changing.” “The last tool you'll ever need.” Most of the time it's a product with a slick landing page and a three-month free trial burning VC money.

The real question — does it actually save me time? — rarely gets answered. That's what Raixs is for.

What Raixs is

Raixs is a community-sourced AI tools directory. Every review is built from real user experiences — Reddit threads, YouTube comments, forum discussions — distilled into a format that tells you whether to spend your money or not.

We don't do partnerships. We don't accept sponsored reviews. We do earn affiliate commissions on some links, which is disclosed clearly on every page. That's how we keep the lights on without selling our editorial integrity.

Our editorial principles

  • 1.We write for the person who has 10 minutes to decide, not the person who wants a 5,000-word feature matrix.
  • 2.We report what users say, not what the tool's marketing says.
  • 3.We flag hidden costs, annoying UX, and broken promises — even on tools we recommend.
  • 4.We update reviews when tools change significantly. A 2024 review of a 2026 product is worse than useless.
  • 5.Affiliate links exist. They don't change the verdict.

Want to contribute?

If you've used an AI tool and have a genuine take — good or bad — we want to hear from you. We're always looking to add tools and update existing reviews with fresh community data.
